Impulse Cable?

I’ve got a credit at BMP Design and was thinking of getting a new set of spark plug wires. Does anyone know if a 325is built in April, 1987, has an impulse cable or not? Or can you advise me what to look for in my engine bay?

look for an inductive cable on the #6 spark plug wire, nearthe Dizzy. it runs from the dizzy, across the front of the engine and attaches to a connector on the left side of the engine sort of under the ICV. This sensor feeds ignition timing info to the ECU. It adds beaucoup bux to the price of a set of wires. As an alternative, Magnecor will make a set of wires for you IF you send them the plastic loom that mounts to the valve cover AND the inductive pickup cable from your old/spare set of wires. The last time I had asked the price, it was 65.00
