Im selling my e30! - SOLD

Hey everyone, its time to sell my e30.

Its been my daily driver for a couple of years, and I have a replacement car now so I am ready to sell.

Its a 5spd with 240K miles. Clean title, although it apparently was rear ended, as the rear bumper is not original and there is noticeable bondo work on the passenger side 1/4 panel.

Its a strong motor, dyno’d 146 whp. Its believed to have been rebuilt in whole or in part at some point, as the motor runs strong and looks very clean from the top and from the bottom.

I have done lots of maintenance work to it, all done at Edge Motorworks in Dublin. There are lots of details on the car posted up on a few of the local sites, but I thought I would give you fellers a shout, since mechanically the car is in great shape.

Equally to you, I meant no offense,and none taken, I just track these particular cars for sale a lot, in many areas of the country, and my response was with all those “market” prices in mind…

It is a nice car though, and the buyer will definitely appreciate your “brutal honesty”…

Guys, John is a good honest guy and if someone were looking at this car to convert to race at least you know what you’re getting. It seems like a better fit for a nice driver for someone.

John, good luck with your sale. Obviously, most race car candidates are not as street prepared as your car so there is some value that is not “appreciated” for race cars - usually looking for a straight tub without concern for suspension, interiors, and such because it will all be replaced.

I know you autocross this car successfully and your dyno numbers are reasonable, and knowing the guys at Edge it is a well cared for car. I’m sure you’ll do fine selling it for a street car.
