Ignition stuff

Without giving away .1 sec secrets, what do you guys suggest for plugs and wires?

Is there any gain to be had by running different setups? Spark gaps an important variable with these engines?

Whatever wires Jack from Elephant Motorsports sold me, I think they are 8mm Magnecour wires but don’t quote me on that :slight_smile: . I can’t remember what plugs I run and don’t worry about gap too much. Hope that helps :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t think there’s anything to be had from the ignition. OE or equivalent, parts are as good as it gets. The main gain will be from having new plugs, wires, rotor, and cap.

That’s what I was thinking. Low compression, fairly low air flow, lower power engines don’t really benefit much from “performance oriented” ignition stuff. Just wanted to make sure the OEM stuff wasn’t sub-par.
