Ice racing anyone?

#1

I’m excited. I haven’t had a chance to ice race in years. Got blizzaks put on last week. The iX should be great with it’s blown out shocks and tiny swaybars. I just need to get the abs working so I can find out about the special ice mode it’s supposed to have. I know it’s somewhere on lake Winnebago. Oshkosh, WI I think. Anyone else plan on making the drive?

Maybe we can make this a GTG.

That looks like a lot of fun! Think I can rent a car and take it out there?

Looks like someone was renting out an STI rally car with studs last year. The ice usually isn’t thick enough until mid january though so we have to wait a while.

There are options for those in the northeast as well:

I’ve definitely thought about getting a set of snows for my car and running this. I’m probably never going to, in order to prioritize not rusting my car out.

Hey, E, can we expect to see you in a SE30 in the MW region?

Soon. Maybe next weekend. Word is some further north lakes have 12 inches. I think we have an 8 inch minimum rule(That’s what she said).
