I need a roller!!!

Hey guys. I had a guy who got rid of the free roller I was gonna build. I am ready to start build and would like to race by the end of summer!!! Anybody have a line on a free/cheap roller to build.

Cool Will, E30’s going big time! I did a search on Craigslist bay area, nothing there. Scott’s usually good about finding them in Sac. He sent a couple of links not long ago but I just checked and both are expired. Good luck, it won’t take long to find one.

I have a few cars but they are complete runners. Evil Genius has a car with a cage in it ready to build out too.

Kevin, I’ve been hooked, I’m just finally so fed up with Spec Miata that it is time to make a change and S e30 is screaming my name!!! (on a side note, I have a very nice spec miata for sale… lol) It is ashame that a highly competitive miata motor costs as much as most of the front running e30s COMPLETELY BUILT!!! If all the cars currently being built made it to next event we could have our own run group, but that is not going to happen. Soon enough hopefully though!!! Remember we have to play nice and have enough signed up long before the event to do get our own group. But find me a car anyway damnit!!!:cheer:

Walter, please email me about the rollers info…(price/condition/pics) I love Jon Pagels work, but my sponsor is Impact Engineering in San Jose, so they will do all my fabricating. They are also going to build multiple cars for arrive and drive stuff, so that will add some cars to our field as well!!!

I am very much looking forward to running with you guys, and there is some other great drivers currently building cars that will help validate us as a great class to run with.

It is sad to see what Spec Miata is turning into. I really like the idea of sealed motors like we were discussing to keep the cost down and the field competitive. I think that will definitely prolong the series for some time to come.

In all seriousness though I do have a chassis if you are interested. It’s an 87 and it runs. It was my daily driver until I got the s2000 and parked it. Email me and we can talk about it. kevin.borchers@vmwerks.com
