Now that used heater core #2 has decided to puke on my shoe, and it’s legal to remove it, has anyone who has yanked theirs missed it? Other than VIR in February, I can’t see the thing being of much value. Replacement cost equals that of a Toyo, so I’d rather not buy a new one.

If you get too cold, do what we did when we race the 25 Hours of Thunderhill in December, in 28 degrees, in the rain, in an open top Cobra. Put a 12v recepticle on the dash. Go online and buy the cheapest heated motorcycle jacket vest you can find, should be 60 bucks or so. Put it under your driving suit. Run the long 12v cord through the fly in your firesuit. Plug in and be warm.
