H&R says the part number 50404-88 is incorrect

When I called to order springs, I was told that the part number listed in the rules as 50404-88 was only for the M cars and would not work on the 89 325i because the spring hat was different. Are they wrong or am I missing something?

Try calling one of the forum advertisers as the 50404-88 is correct and I’ll bet that they are in stock at any of your forum-supporting vendors. If you’re in Georgia, the Factory 3 guy has 'em.

IIRC the label on the H&R box read e30 M3 and 325, so the springs should be the same for both cars.
