What an awesome weekend, 4 starts and 4 wins :woohoo: plus I beat all the Porsches in the last rain race! The last race was interesting, the front straight was dry and when you turned the blind corner at turn 1 it was so incredibly wet and then on the back section of the course the deep puddles took up half the track.
Gary’s right… we were both there… HOWEVER, we were both doing instructor duty and making sure the Group 1 students kept their cars on the track and on the line
We’re resuming our racer alter-egos for next month’s event at Starke.

Oh and the lap times? Mine is still the fastest
That explains it…I am still “hoping” to make it to Starke.
Psst: Have you got $500 laying aaround? I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday…

Bad news on that… just got this in my email:
November Starke postponed
Here’s the official word:
“Although the track management at ERS and Motorsport Park has worked very hard to accommodate us at their new track, it has been decided to postpone our Nov 14 and 15 event until additional track improvements can be implemented.”
The question was whether or not the track could get everything we wanted/needed/required/demanded in place by the time we showed up. The entry road looks like it was not gong to be in place either.
