Great Racing at Thunder Hill

#1

Hey Guy’s,

Just wanted to let everyone know what a great time I had this last weekend at Thunder Hill. We sure have a great group of racers and I am very thank-full to be a member of the Nor-Cal crew.

Here is the link to my video from Sunday’s race. http://vimeo.com/6260280

Too bad I didn’t have a camera facing backwards and a wide angle lens as I was pressured by Tony (thanks for running the race as a fun run) the whole time he was behind me and also from Rich.

I just want to compliment Rich Safreno on getting his car done and super clean door to door racing. Rich and I battled with each other in the beginning of the race and for the last four laps of the race.

Great Fun!!!

See everyone at Buttonwillow in October.

Sundays race was exciting to watch from above in the tower. There were several battles going on through out the field. Scott and Rich side by side through 1, 2, and 3 was a nail biter.

Greg and Steve duking it out up front was equally intense. All good clean racing! Nice job to all and to Steve for his first Win!

Donny’s weak start on Saturday created alot of exciting racing as well watching him go back up through the field.

Here’s a great photo of Steven’s car in Turn 10 with me, Greg and Scott C in the chase. Congrats Steven on your first win!

It was a good weekend despite the HOT weather. Trying to figure out what’s wrong with my engine. I’ll keep everyone posted when I find out.

Cheers,
Scott

As my first race with everyone it was great racing. While keeping back of the pack to make sure I didn’t violate my provisional I look forward to putting on some new rubber and getting right into the mix with everyone.

Looking forward to BW!

Anybody talk to either of the accident participants to see how their cars are healing? One of them was hoping to make Nationals.

Kevin,

Brad I am sure has already or is in the midst of the repair as his damage was not too severe and as for Rieger I think that car had a fork stuck in it as in it is done.
Good luck at Nationals to you and everyone else that is going from Nor Cal wish I could make it.

Hey Brad here,
My car wasn’t to bad. I replaced the ctrl arm and axle. Pulled out the fender, alignment, corner balanced. I’m set.

Brad,

Good to hear you will be back. Now that my Provisional is complete i look forward to running with you.

Hey guys, I’m a little behind getting lap records updated, but who drove in the teams in each day? Also what was the track config (Thunderhill CW w/Bypass)?

Thanks.

The track config was CCW w/ bypass

Team J&F = Steven Ferrario
Team Brimstone = Donny Edwards
Team BTM = Brad McClure
Team Matco = Richard Safreno

Thanks,
Scott
