Grattan June 2011

So who is in for Grattan? I’ve been talked into going and signed up this morning. Only two signed up for now. Myself and Cameron. Denny and Sean are supposed to be going as well. That is 4 which is great. Need to get a few more to make it a great event. Kevin, get the reverends car ready and sign up. You hardly used it last weekend. I can house you and Dan again if need be. Not sure why the rest of you aren’t going but think about it.

Learned some bad news on Tuesday. The truck engine lost all compression on cylinder #8, which means I am not running until I get that fixed. Hopefully it doesn’t put me out for the whole year.

Looking for the bottom end of a 5.4L 3-valve Ford. They came in 04+ F150’s/Expeditions…

My expedition lost its reverse gear. We are trying to get that fixed before the race, if not it goes forward and that’s all that counts! A few more guys step up for Grattan, lets make this a fun weekend.

When it gets back from the cage builder it needs:

  1. Valve springs installed
  2. Compression and leakdown checked
  3. AFM adjusted or replaced
  4. CV boots replaced
  5. Sway bars installed
  6. Headlight bulbs installed and checked for working condition
  7. Control arms installed
  8. Vinyl ordered for roof
  9. Install fan and route to A/C switch

List goes on and on…and on.
