Good thread on aftermarket radiators

As some other thread here discusses, I’ve been using a double-pass radiator that with a few mods can be made to work. But this thread has me thinking that 1) Triple pass is do-able and 2) The radiator cap port doesn’t need to be sealed off.

This year I’ve destroyed 3 radiators, having had a few conflicts with walls of various types. My solution cost around $350 total but the ideas in this thread indicated that maybe it can be done for ~$200.

Subject change, I have a NIB OEM early style radiator looking for a good home. Came with the New #6.

After experimenting on the dyno this summer, I totally agree that cooler is better. I’m thinking about buying an aluminum Mishimoto from http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=231115, but want to make sure it’s dual pass first.

That is almost sure to be singlepass. Double pass radiators usually have the inlet and outlet on the same side.

If he doesn’t take it, I will. Still haven’t repacled my lower radiator hose after slicing it so might as well do the radiator at the same time.
