Some folks wonder why I run vintage every now and then…all I can say is Friday night at VIR they had all you can eat lobster and steak, free for you and your crew. I only ate 6 lobsters as I had to drive early in the morning…at the BMW/CCA vintage weekend at RRR in December they traditionally have steamed oysters and Bass ale.

The Roebling Vintage race is the weekend of 11Dec. That’s the weekend after RA. We ought to see of we can’t get enough folks together to put together our own race class again.

Doubtful we get our own race - but we can at least have our own SE30 class and not compete against the KP cars.

Depends. IIRC the rules are a little grey. If the vintage outfit is looking for more participation our money is good. If they have all the folks they need then we aren’t vintage.
Last Fall(?) we put together a SpecE30 only race at Roebling with SVRA.
The annual Dec Roebling event, however, is a VDCA/BMWCCA Club Racing event. So we’d be there not so much because our cars are 20yrs old, but because they’re BMW’s.
SVRA and VDCA are both vintage racing outfits.
Ranger, the Labor Day 2009 one-shot deal was actually with VDCA, not SVRA. Same people that do VIR/Tarheel BMW in April, RRR/Tarheel BMW in December, and Road Atlanta/Peachtree BMW in February.
