General alignment question

#1

My apologies if this is a FAQ. I did a search of the forums but couldn’t find the info (I think) I need. I’ve just had the stock suspension replace with the spec suspension. My mechanic has asked me what alignment specifications I need. To be honest I have no idea! I’m a complete noob when it comes to this kind of stuff. Is there a general setup I can give him that I can tinker with later when I get more in tune with the car?

Thanks,

Andy

Basics are:
Front -3.5* camber; Slight toe out (1/8" or so)
Rear as much negative camber as possible not over -3.5* that give you 0 toe or slight toe in.

Here’s the full argument, but that’s pretty much it.

Thanks for the help. I’ll pass the info on to my mechanic. Hopefully, once I get the car out on the track and learn how it handles I’ll have a much better idea how to figure it out myself.
