Does Atlanta still not have gas? Here in Nashville we finally got some stock over the weekend. Things are getting back to normal now.

I guess I need to bring some jugs with me on Friday to make sure I can get back home after the races!

Gas in Atlanta is still extremely scarce (weekends basically equals nothing). It’s borderline scary in that if you need gas, you could easily run out of it looking for some.

I read all but 4 refineries are open. If people would stop waiting in line for 30min just to top of a tank 3/4 full this would not be an issue.

2 or 3 stations get gas here everyday, Luckily this is a small town, so It’s easy to find. Paying .40 more than everyone else is really getting old.

All refineries are up and running as of yesterday, but the long and short of it is, it will take 14 days for product pumped yesterday to reach its destination. In my 23 years of doing this $hit, I have never seen it this bad. If you live in the Southeast and you don’t have enough gas to go from point A to point B and back to point A, don’t expect to get gas at point B. That is the best advice I can give you. Atlanta supply is extremely critical.

If I were a bold man I would bring my 5 gallon jug to Petit Le Mans this weekend and stick a “First $50 Takes It” sign on it, but I don’t relish the thought of having a gas jug shoved up my arse.

PS - There was plenty of gas available in Pine Mountain this weekend. Just take a nice trip down to see the butterflies at Callaway and fill up while you are there!:wink:
