I finally got around to dropping the fuel tank on my early style fuel system. I am looking to replace all the rubber lines. I was wondering if anyone knew all the proper part numbers. RealOEM is very confusing, and I don’t see the one line I really want to replace which is the 12mm ID 15mm OD hose that goes across the top of the tank. I looked at my old one and it has this printed on it:
CONTI BMW 1 178 823 40 86
That seems like it would be a BMW part number, but it doesn’t pull up anywhere. I have found normal 12mm ID 15mm OD fuel line online, but this hose has a 90 degree bend on the end to get into the inlet of the secondary fuel pump, so I would like to go OEM. I would also like to get the OEM line that goes from the in tank pump to the metal hard line on top of the tank and the OEM line that goes from the secondary pump to the fuel filter inlet. These aren’t as important as normal 8mm ID 13mm OD hose will work fine. Thanks for any help.
