Fuel Pressure Damper

Decided to take off altogether the Fuel Pressure Damper which is inline with the fuel filter. Thought it might be part of the fuel problem I am having. It looked ancient so I put a high pressure fuel line in place. Is this okay??

I’ve read that it can be removed without impacting performance. Personally, I don’t know.

Thanks Scott–Also thanks on the CPS call. When I got it off, the end fell apart. So far so good B)

I removed mine when I replaced all the rubber lines. No issues thus far.
