1990 Spec E30 last raced in 2018 and located in Richmond VA, $15,000. I bought this for my son to start racing but he has interests in other areas so it’s been my backup car for the last couple of seasons. I’ve made sure to keep it race ready and it can be a front runner. The car is completely wrapped and I’ve never seen what’s underneath. It’s a very solid body (better than my primary car) with only a couple of small rust spots and zero body rot. Here’s some details:
- Motor freshened in 2017 and has 4 races on it. It dynoed at 155 but I can’t find the sheet
- Built head with IE hardened rocker arms and new eccentrics
- Trans completely rebuilt at the same time the motor was freshened
- Diff just rebuilt with zero hours on it
- Axle shafts rebuilt at the same time as diff
- Belts, side net and window net good thru 2023
- Extremely well built cage with extra cross bars and foot protection
- Passenger seat installed w/ expired belts
- FIA carbon seat on Garagistic aluminum race seat mounts
- Momo steering wheel with quick disconnect
- Fire bottle
- Original spec suspension with new shocks replaced in 2017 and have 4 races on them
- All the typical bushing upgrades and proper rear adjustors welded in
- Includes one set of rules legal wheels and tires
- Carries roughly 50 lbs of ballast
