FS: 86 325e / Partial Build

#1

Hope it’s okay to post here… I know the SE is a bit busier than FL

Overview:

Lapis Blue 325e with over 250k on the engine. Still runs perfect. I have a spare 325i engine and transmission with an est. 70k miles also included in the sale.

I’ll have photos by the end of the day.

In Nov 09, all new suspension installed:
Control Arms
Solid Bushings (subframe, transmission, engine, control arms) AKG
AKG DTM Shifter
Jim C Chip
3.73 LSD
S.S. Brake Lines
Custom Exhaust
Two spare bottle cap wheels
Straight Chassi
Carpet has been removed / Door panels and stock seats are still intact.
Some dash cracks
Bilstein Sports
Eibach Pro Race Springs
Crank Sunroof
Passenger side window regulator is kaput
AC system is in the car but not-working

I’ve owned this car for 11 years now; since I was 15. Everything has been looked at/taken care of. I have some old receipts from the previous owner, I am the third owner. The idea was to build a SE30 car but plans have changed.

$3k obo. I really want to sell the car with the spare 325i engine/tranny. Not interested in parting the car. It’s a solid car, just needs a bit more to be either a complete Spec E30 candidate.

Located in Tampa, Fl.

Any takers for $2k?

You may have better luck putting the carpet back in and selling it on BF.C as a street car.

While the car has some good stuff going for it (bushings, shifter, trans, LSD), there’s a fair amount that would have to change to make it legal for SE30 (suspension, exhaust, DME, engine).

Good luck with the sale.

Thanks… I really don’t want to invest any more time into the car to make it back into a street car… I was hoping someone would make an offer…

Cheers!
