Fourth new Atlanta car

#1

Looks like Jack Allen will be joining the NASA SE racer group sometime next year. Jack currently races an e36 car, but the close competition of the racers at our past Road Atlanta event and a hard-court-press by several e30 friends are the reasons for his change. I picked up a car for Jack last week, a white "89 automatic with a locked up engine at $485. This week it will be a "87 roll-over car for the donor drivetrain at $250. We’ll start the removal process this holiday weekend. Come see us , Robert Patton

Really we convinced Jack to convert??? Wow… I’ve got something on Saturday, but Sunday and Monday are open to help. What timeframe???

Most importantly, what’s the theme going to be???

giddyup, another Southeast car. You Mid-Atlantic boys better duck and cover, we are coming for you! Looks like we should have consistent 10 car fields for next season.

Kelly,I’ll be around most all of the weekend, cause I don’t have a life.I’ll be stripping the roll-over car looking for ABS brake sensors and wiring. Jack will likely be working on his truck. No real fun racecar goings-on. Jack’s car is the m&m special… That’s mold and mildew. What do you do around a mold and mildew theme?oRegards, Robert

Mold & Mildew… sounds like an exterminator’s vehicle to me. I can see it now complete with the big cockroach on the roof

No kidding! Once you guys got rolling…

It sounds like the Mid Atl guys need to start pressing the BMW CCA guys whose racing budgets are at the breaking point.
