Hey All,
I bought a harder final drive bushing from AKG Motorsports. As I went to swap it out, though, I see that the OEM busing has an eccentric hole whereas the AKG bushing is on-center. Will this cause any problem?
Thanks,
Sasha

I don’t remember ever seeing an offset bushing for the diff. I tend to suspect that the old bushing has an offset in the hole from age and stress.
I think the AKG bushing should be fine…
I’ve got an AKG in mine works fine, actually pretty easy to get it compared to the rubber metal OE style ones just get a piece of flat stock (to bridge the hole for the bushing and give you something to drive against) and a c-clamp and crank 'er in
The OEM bushing definitely has an offset built into it (it’s clear from the geometry that it’s not just sag induced by stress), plus the offset is mentioned in the Bentley. The centered AKG should make the diff tuck up tighter to the car.

All the OEM bushigns I have seen have the offset hole. I don’t remember if it goes left to right or up and down but i have the AKG bughings and no problem. My driveshaft was rubbing the fuel tank a little (the balancing weight anyway) and some prying on the take seems to have solved that.
