FIA vs SFI

I’m looking at some 6PT Sabelts that are FIA approved but do not have a SFI Rating. In the CCR it appears that it needs to be SFI 16.1 or 16.5 or FIA approved, just looking for clarification before I drop the money.

FIA belts don’t have to be replaced as often so that’s the added bonus of going with FIA.

FIA good for 5 years SFI for 2. Can be factory recertified for a fee.
