Hey guys…I counted five? from NASA’s entry list plus I still need to register as does the VM Werks car…that makes 7 by my count. There were two SpecE30s I didn’t recognize on the list, the #17 car and another # I can’t remember right now. We should perhaps exchange cell phone #s so we can help each other get directed to wherever our paddock space ends up. Mine is 916-837-7350.

BTW…NASA just announced that Toyo Bucks are back! Woohoo! See this link:

Scott,
I will be racing Ryans car on saturday and he will be racing on sunday. We dont show up yet because we are Tech Stewards. We will be racing under team Ten Tenths Motorsports.
Also I will be racing in the Spec miata race on sunday.
We allways paddock nearest the drivers lounge or behind the main grandstands.
Who ever is heading up friday needs to secure roughly enough space for 20 vehicles. If someone is headed in friday call me and I will bring cones and qaution tape.(916) 496-0750
It will be in the best interest of all spece30 competitors to be paddocked together or at least near Ten Tenths Motorsports. I dont want to give out any details yet but I will see you there. Have your cars ready for pictures…

The car passed smog this morning, and actually measured cleaner than my M3’s last smog. They didn’t have a gas cap adapter that fit, so I got to skip the new EVAP test.

I’ve gotta throw a racing seat in the car and I’m all set for Infineon (HPDE)

Thats damn funny.
Well the looks on the freeway are priceless. My wife was so embarresed when she had to follow me home from my tuners shop.LOL keep the window net up for bugs.

Adam if you’re in a pinch I can loan you my Sparco seat with Vac mounts plus the schroth 6pt harness - it was my passenger seat. I don’t want to sell it, but you could borrow until you have time to shop properly.

Well looks like I’ll be officially driving on Saturday! Saturday’s race should be pretty exciting… Woohoo! Only bad part is I have to prep the car as well as Elliott’s car, and even work on Ryan’s…:frowning: Always comes down to the last minute for some reason
One of Walter’s good friends, Carl Chiu, will be driving his inaugural race in the Vmwerks car on Sunday.

I’m listed twice (but only got billed once) - not sure how that happened. I will now be #93 instead of #03.

Kevin, I barely have time to prep one car, much less 3 - you are one hard working hombre! See you guys on Saturday.

Is this the lineup?

Scott / Scott
Steve / Ryan
Brenden / Brenden
AJ / AJ
#17 / #17
Ron / Ron

That looks like a good group. Add Kevin / Carl to the list. The mystery car #17 is a guy from Salinas named Josef.

My car number will be 88 rather than 831…

Careful brenden.
There is a time and place for protests.
17.6 Bad Faith Protests
Any competitor, entrant, or team member having knowledge or suspicion of illegal parts
or modifications to another competitor’s vehicle has an obligation to immediately
disclose that information to that team, or to the Race Director, before the start of the
race. To file a protest in violation of these rules will cause action to be taken against the
protestor. This will not however, affect the acceptance, rejection, or outcome of the
protest.
If this car has entered as spece30 then it will be checked for compliance with everybody else at impound. All cars will be checked on saturday and sunday.
