Favorite socket wrenches

Stubby gearless wrench. Has no gear so you get every bit of turn. Flip over to turn socket the other way. I often use this to get bolts started because the little wrench makes it easy to get the bolt finger tight. I’ve always bought these from Northern Tools, but I couldn’t find one on their web site. I’ve used these so much that I’ve worn out 2 of them. https://www.walmart.com/ip/1-4-Drive-Gearless-Micro-Ratchet/29834180?

Husky 100tooth low profile wrench. The 100teeth means it’s very efficient. You keep most every bit of the turn you just made. Good for tight places. It’s also low profile so the thickness of wrench and socket is low. Also good for tight place. Available on ebay at a discount. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-3-8-in-Drive-100-Position-Locking-Flex-Head-Ratchet-H10038FLRAT/206038527

Paid 80$ on special for this one. It has changed how fast I can tackle project.

It was a life saver when removing axles.

I finally bought an impact that can unbolt wheel nuts without having the tires on the ground! Can’t beat the price. Only suggestion, get the drill first, comes with a battery and charger. The bigger capacity is also worth it, but it will save you from having two chargers.

By far my favorite ratchets
Titan Tools 18202 2-Piece 1/4-Inch & 3/8-Inch Dr. Micro Gearless Ratchet Set

I have had to lubricate the mechanism a couple of time but the are still my go-to for most of my small fastener car maintenance tasks. Break fasteners loose with 8” breaker bar then finish with these.

@Ranger,
Scott, here is the same thing, but 1/4 and 3/8, for roughly the same price, in case you could use both sizes.
