ooh ooh i can play this game.

I onced ordered an E36 M3 exhaust from them.

I got it in about 2.5 weeks later, dropped the stock exhaust. Then i noticed the pipes weren’t the right diameter… they sent the nonM3 exhaust. super. put stock exhaust back on.

Call em up, new exhaust on the way. 2 weeks later new exhaust shows up.

Its another WRONG exhaust! Call again, they say they’ll send another. Finally it comes in, its the right one. Buts crap quality, sounds bad, looks bad, fits bad. I end up giving it to a friend.

Meanwhile, i had two crappy exhausts in my garage waiting to be picked up. It took me calling IE THREE times before they finally got picked up. I guess that speaks of the quality…

You got lucky. Congrats.

Let me guess: your swaybar separated at one of the tab welds?

It actually broke the tab itself, not the weld…

Is this a common problem? Now I’m worried. I just put an IE bar on my car:dry:

I don’t think you have much to worry about. I know lots of people using IE bars and never heard of a breakage like that. Maybe it’s a west coast thing

Are you saying people on the west coast don’t drive or use their equipment as hard?

Chuck, mine broke at Summit this past summer. The right-side tab weld failed from inside out. I took it to my cage builder to be repaired… he said sometimes moisture gets into a rushed/improper weld and corrodes the weld. If I can find my pics of the failure, I’ll post one later.
