Evap can for fuel vapors

#1

Can we remove the carcoal canistor and assosiated lines? I didn’t see anything specific in the rules about it, but I thought I would ask since I am new to SE30. Thanks.

Nope.

You wouldn’t want to anyways. I was asking around on this issue last year for our Lemons car. What I found out is that when the DME opens the valve from intake to fuel vapor cannistor, it reduces the duration of the injectors. This is an attempt to keep the mixture at the right A/F. So if you pull the vapor cannistor, each time the DME opens the valve, the engine will run lean.

What I don’t know is when this occurs. It’s not at idle and it’s probably not at WOT.

OP. The CCR is meant to be understood as “anything not explicitly allowed, isn’t”. So if an issue is not addressed, you can’t fool with it.
