e30 race cars welcome at Vintage at the Vineyards

#1

If there’s no racing going on memorial day weekend (May 24th), bring your race car out to Vintage at the Vineyards and set up in the e30 area. With enough advance notice I can even arrange for a spec e30 display area within the e30 area which is the front lawn of the winery. Somone would just have to organize the spec e30 guys and shoot me an email letting me know how many are coming.

Expecting over 200 vintage BMW cars and motorcycles this year. :woohoo:

Event is FREE, and you can find lots of info and pics on the event website : www.vintageatthevineyards.zoomshare.com

It’s gonna be one helluva BMW shindig.

Al, if you show yours, maybe Tom and I will show ours! Spec E30’s that is!

Maybe we can talk Scott Mc and the Beertech guys to bring there’s and we can sit around and not only show what Spec E30’s look like but how we drink too!

No outside booze allowed, it is at a winery…

It’s the only weekend of the year that I have to work, else I’d be there. Besides, if you’ve seen one BTR car you’ve seen them all.

We can drink their wine! It’s pretty darn good stuff!

Yup, I agree, last time I was there bought a case. Good stuff.,

Are you the artist that did the poster - it is cool.
I like freudian slips like mispelling "perfeclty"
cheers,

I guess it would only make sense for the only non wine drinking BTR member to show up… so I’ll haul my car out to this thing.

Will there be trailer parking, and if so… where?

Your the first person to catch it, don’t tell anybody.

There is no specified trailer parking area. The volunteers will point you towards the spots designated for trailers.

If you have a trailer, best to get there at about 10:30 when the gates open.

Best scenario would be to park beside the road (which doesn’t have much traffic) , unload the car, then drive it up to the display area.

I’m planning to be there with the car.

This looks like a good oportunity to show off the cars. I should have a good three-fold brochure for handouts.

Cool… looks like we’ll have at least 5 Spec E30’s.

Sounds like we will have a section marked off for the Spec E30’s - should be pretty nice. Email me at tom@rowdydogracing.com if you are coming, I’ll give you my cell number so that we can coordinate getting all the cars together that morning. We could also make sure that we have a good menu for the day - I’m thinking smoked possum:laugh: .
