E30 glove box latch...

I’ve got an '89 BMW 325i and signed up to take it on the track at Road Atlanta for Santa’s Toy Run. I’ve got the glove box but no latch or handle and I’m pretty sure the instructor doesn’t want the glove box hitting his knees on the course…:laugh: So just wondering if anyone out there had a spare. I figure I can always just take the glove box out, but the latch would be much simpler. Thanks.

I might have one laying around. But there’s a chance I got tired of see it laying around.

Does the A/C work on the car? If so it remains a nice street car and you’ll want to look for a box/latch.

If not it is a track/race car, so who cares.

Right know I’m using it as a fun “alternate” daily driver and track car. Unfortunately the A/C isn’t working so it is what it is.

I should have a latch I can bring. Look for the black 401 on Saturday at RA. Don’t think I have the ‘receptacle’ end that mounts to body but will bring the piece that mounts to the glove box door itself.

JA, sorry, but it seems I no longer have any glovebox doors. I could picture where I had them stashed when I made the offer, but I apparently thinned out the parts/spares some time back.
