Making it 8 hours is the only sure way we have of making certain an American car can’t win.

Well I can’t speak for myself, but my parents’ E46 was a nightmare. I’ve never seen so many problems on a car and I grew up in mostly American cars. Good luck if anyone wants to race one. You’d better bring along a team of electricians in the backseat

+1 for e46 electrical gremlins. As soon as mine was out of warranty I sold it
Nothing every stopped it from running but didn’t make it comfortable
I was at the dealer every 3-4 months
replaced the head light 4 times(bad ballast)
all window regulators
A/c controls went all screwy
Sun roof was acting funny when I sold it

My ameriacn cars have faired no better. Honda = no problems

The length of the Enduro gents. Focus focus.

I wanted to vote for ‘24 hours’ but didn’t see it as a choice.

Think about it. Driving at night fighting the sleepiness…

Oh, and there will have to be Spec Headlights for the event so the Racer-X will not have the advantage with a Xenon Megawatt blue-yellow lights.

I like the idea of a 6-8 hour race. We’ve been doing 3 hour enduros all year. Need to end BIG.

BTW: No problems with our e46. If I was gonna do an 8 hour race in an American car, it would be in a truck

voted…the longer the race, the more fun it is…the 13hr at vir is a race i look forward to all year long…

Hey Al,

Ranger ALREADY has a live chicken in his driving suit! (or was he just REAL happy to be at the track last week?) :woohoo:

I say leave off the time limit. Last one to stay awake wins.

It’s posts like this that end up as poster-children of “See this resume? I was going to call him in for an interview, but then I googled his name and look what I found. He apparently calls himself The Human Piston.”
