Diff cover bolt

Stupid question of the month. I just mounted the rear suspension. There’s a significant gap between the diff bushing and the chassis mount. Is there supposed to be a spacer to make up the gap or is the chassis mount supposed to bend when the bolt is tightened?

It will get squeezed together.

There is a couple mm of gap. Also, different bushings have different widths. I’m with Rob.

Just replaced my diff mount, and I agree that it will get squeezed together.
