Been lurking here for a while and just wanted to post up some pics as my cage is finally going in. A place called ART here in Austin is doing the work. They are primarily known for spec Miata work, but also do some Porsche work as well. I picked them because of their experience, excellent quality welds and because they seemed like they would be good to work with. I went in with a stripped car and a stack of pics printed out from these forums and they went through all of them with me. The two main ones we ended up liking are the beertech and the elephant motorsports cage. Thanks to all that have posted on the topic, it was a huge help. It will be a symmetrical design with two full X’s, and the rally style gusseted “X” door bars. I’ll skip the details for now and get on to the pics - just tacked in, but so far very happy. Curious to know everyone’s thoughts.
