SpecE30 Donor: This car has the SpecE30 H&R springs and Bilstein struts/shocks already installed plus some other suspension repairs, new timing belt, shifter bushings, fuel pump…looks to be a good start for a SpecE30. Owner is asking $1800

Owner’s Description:

The car is not pretty but mechanically its sound. Here is a list of things that I have replaced since purchasing the vehicle. Car has 234k miles on it now. I bought it with 229k miles.
-control arm and control arm bushings
-subframe bushings
-timing belt, t/belt tensioner, water pump, cap, rotor, spark plugs.
-valve cover gasket, rocker shaft plugs and valve adjustment.
-thermostat housing and thermostat
-shift bushings, selector rod joint, selector shaft seal and output shaft seal
-new heater core, heater valve and updated bypass hose kit
-fuel pump, dme & fuel pump relays, fuel filter
-h&r springs and bilstien sport struts
-alignment
-used tachometer and new SI board

The bad:
-salvaged title from previous owner. The car was hit high in the right rear. It was repaired and the vehicle passes alignment.
-right rear tail light bucket area is not perfect. It leaks slightly.
-reverse lights intermittently working.
-usual driver’s side door lock actuator acts up intermittently.
-A/C needs to be charged.
Car drives great and pulls hard. It gets good gas mileage. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Does the seller post here?

Sounds like a very good deal if the car is still straight.

Don’t know…I just saw the advertisement last night and wanted to get the word out. There are photos posted in the Craigs List link…the car looks fairly straight.

Man, if I didn’t already own TWO E30’s, I’d be really tempted!

Seems pretty expensive for a 200+K Salvage title car…
