Convertible IS chassis harness in a hardtop

#1

I’m currently transferring the chassis harness from an IS vert to a hard top body. The vert is a 1990. After I removed the harness, I sprawled it out on the basement floor. I removed speaker wiring, window switch wiring and any wiring going to the convertible top switches. I didn’t want to remove too much until the hardtop is running. At that point I’ll remove more.

There’s a fairly busy bundle going up the A pillar to a pod that was mounted above the windshield. I’ve since sold that pod. Can I remove all of these wires without causing any problems with the engine starting and running?

I’m completely new to these cars. Where can I get a good hard copy of electrical wiring diagrams. Thanks

It sounds like you are referring to the check panel wiring. removing that will not cause problems.
