Construction Update: NJMP

New Jersey Motorsports Park put up some new photos of the construction progress. It’s looking like things are moving along fairly well, hopefully everything will be ready for summer. FWIW, EMRA is racing there on the weekend of July 11th, so that would be the first chance for any of us to race there (not sure if SCCA or BMWCCA have any earlier dates, I don’t have a license with them so I didn’t check :slight_smile: ). EMRA does a one day license deal if you normally race with another club.

Looking good,

Looks like most of the effort is on the important part, The Track.

Looking at the photos, I have doubts that many of the other facilities(food, garages,etc) will be ready by July.

There’s more photo updates on the site as well as a new video showing some of the construction. The lightning track is all done, except for curbing and landscaping stuff and progress has started on Thunderbolt. Looks like all of the facilities are going up fairly fast as well.

July 4th is scheduled opening weekend and EMRA has a 1 hour enduro and a sprint race going on the next weekend if anyone is interested in getting on the track before NASA has dates.

Wow, I am very impressed they are moving fast. I can’t wait

For those that want to know.
Private membership is 10,000 application fee, plus 2,400 a year, plus 150 for each day your on the track, where is that lottery ticket:blink:

The track looks good.

We’ll have to make the trip north, once it’s completed.
