I spoke to Judy today, and she confirmed that you don’t need a "race," car, so I will be there in Oct. She said it was a go for sure, she already has 10-12 signed up. I will see if my friend that has a e30 can come and join us. Should be a fun time.[/quote]

When I did my comp school at Willow a guy came in a rented Ford Taurus. The instructors asked him, "if you’re going to rent a car, why the hell would you get a Ford Taurus??" So, yeah - you can bring any car that would pass an hpde tech inspection.

well I think I am out for now :frowning: - I am officially "between the jobs", so family takes priority over racing…

I do not think I am going to do the racing school in October. I’m still with a leased car, that I’ve taken to the track previously with Driving Concepts, but it was on a different set of wheels. It’s on it’s final ‘stock tires’ that I have to preserve for the end of the lease(this january), and I’m saving as much money as possible for ‘the new bmw’ this december.

Sorry guys, but I’ll definitely see you around the track next year

All,

Judy Ray sent out an email today looking for final confirmation for the Driving Concepts school at Buttonwillow in October. If you think you might, now’s the time. Hope you can make it. From the sounds of it she has enough for a class.
