Coming soon to a track near you..... another SE30

As a follow up to this thread:

A couple local buddies and I have decided to take the plunge and give SpecE30 a try. We’ve purchased Scott Goodwin’s car (in the classifieds) and should take delivery next weeekend!

Very excited.

Hopefully I can allocate enough budget to be able to do the NASA National next year.

Congrats man! I’ll see you at Mid Ohio

Off to ARRC.

Picked up the car & trailer yesterday, dark by the time we got home so no pictures.

Greetings! I’m one of the "local buddies" Jeremy is referring to. The car is sitting in my garage awaiting it’s new livery.

Getting very excited to take the car out for some laps! Now we just need some warmer weather. :stuck_out_tongue:

Awesome, looks like we should start to have some pretty decent fields in our region next year.

Budget for Nationals and qualifying to get there should be ok for me. I don’t know how many events total though. Definitely want to get down to VIR at least once.

Kyle and Sean (yet to sign in) are long time instructors and hoping to make the transition a race license at some point this season. If they like it enough, I’m sure some more cars will follow – but for at least this season, we’ll be trying to make the sharing thing work.

The car seems really well built and almost in too good of shape to have been turned into a race car. Can’t wait to get it out on track!

Simon, how many other new people might be making appearance for 2008? (btw, looking forward to meeting everyone)

I’ll probably be making the trek to VIR next year for the full course, maybe we can break the 30 car count!

To be seen, I think I know of 3 others who are either working on driver or car.

Learned about another local SE30 under construction. Probably won’t be raced until 2009 with 2008 being a learning and car build up year for them.

I will be at Mid Ohio in April for HPDE in the Marines car. This may become my home region.
