It is my intention to be there, but I’ve discovered a problem with the car today.

I had to replace the oil pan after the Road Atlanta race in December. Decided to do a crank scraper at the same time. Fired the car up this morning and it had no oil pressure whatsoever. I’m hoping to resolve that issue, but you all know what is involved for that repair.

PS Jim Levie, I remember your request for an enduro co-driver and have tried to make my schedule work where I could call and inquire about your ride. It ain’t happening.

Is the seat still open? You’ve been so helpful to the Spec e30 audience that we need to return the favor for all of your pit-area helpfulness.

I appreciate that, but I do have a co-driver now. Bill Zawrotny’s car is still down and in need of an engine transplant, but he’s going to come for the enduro and co-drive. I think that works well for both of us. I get a co-driver and Bill has an hour and a half to scratch that itch on a weekend he’d otherwise miss out on.

Re Bill’s engine. The current plan is for him to get a new engine (we have lines on a couple), bring it & the car to Huntsville and I’m going to do the swap for him. Schedules being what they are, there just wasn’t enough time to accomplish that for CMP.
