CMP May 5th and 6th

Staying there is something all racers should experience:laugh: … at least once.

I take exception with the negative comments about the Executive Inn. We’ve always stayed there and for $50 it’s better than most. Can’t beat it for convenience to track and a couple of reasonable places in downtown Kershaw for grub.

Keith[/quote]It is not horrible, it is not the Crowne Plaza either. It is the closest to the track and bojangles is close for breafast.

Yall know the La Quinta ad slogan "La Quinta is spanish for free high speed internet"…well Executive Inn is slang for "someone ji…ed on your pillow last night!"

Al
would rather sleep on a fire ant mound at the track

#25

Ok, I’m signed up AND booked a room at the Executive Inn, although I’m thinking of camping instead. Who’s bringing the brats?

Al,

Have you ever thought of doing stand-up? My stomach is still hurting from laughing at your stories last weekend.

I’ll be camping, but I’m not bringing any children.

JP’s scared of marroding paddock badits

#29

I have some brats left over from last CMP race…

Al

#30

you mean the ones you cooked on the manifold of your car after the qualifying session?

Believe me, he really cooked them on the exhaust manifold:woohoo:

#31

Damion, you gonna make CMP?

Jonny Allen

No Jonny. The car is being repaired right now but CMP is about 2 weeks before Roebling Rd. The budget won’t allow for race weekends that close together and I really feel like I need to do Roebling to support the SE region. Plus I need to take the track record at Roebling from Robert. I already have CMP. Well that is until you get there;)

Awe shucks. Your gonna miss Al cooking brats and lighting farts!

I hear you, the RA trip was a major stretch for me. Well, good luck at Roebling we’ll miss seeing you in Kershaw. Glad to hear your whip is being fixed, that sure is a pertty machine.

Track record, nah, I’d be more worried about VIC or Carlton, those guys are always wicked fast.

Jonny

Track record…I forgot that doesn’t include qualifing.I had a good lap with new rear tires and a nice draft.

See if youse guys can top Damion’s race time of 156.369 and Travis’ 156.892.

Qualifing wise, Damion had a 156.092 and I was fortunate to get a 155.649

Okay, Southeast guys, in order for our numbers to hold (and I bet they will) we will have to be friends with the weatherman. It is not going to be sunny and 48 degrees in May.

Regards, Robert Patton

Isn’t there a weekend between MA at CMP and SE at RRR? I hope so because we are planning to be at both, but not Rockingham due to Charleston Race Week (settle down, its only sailboats). There is a Seat Time lapping day at RRR on Friday May 18 that provides a good day to get "back on track". And you better believe we are bringing a big ol’ pack of brats to both races- Jeff bought a new grill just for that purpose - much more capacity!
