CHeck your bumpers!!!

I may have mentioned this before but everyone with the aluminum bumpers needs to check them to make sure they are not corroded around the mounting bolts, this is an aluminum bumper held to a steel plate by steel bolts, there is electrolitic corrosion that will cause the bumper to fall off, most likely when getting bump drafted at 100+mph.

My rear bumper was only held on by one side. I plan to teather mine as imagine what happens when the bumper car runs over the bumpee’s rear bumper or his own front!

Give your bumpers a tug and make sure that both sides are still conected, I will try to post photos of my rear bumper, luckily I found it before it completely fell off with the hitch and trailer connected…
