Gang -

I’ve decided to keep the car after all.

After driving the p!ss out of it at Roebling this weekend (because my darling wife was hogging the Miata that I planned to drive), I’ve realized it will be cheaper to keep it than sell it and build another a couple years down the road.

Thank you for all the kind words about the car and/or me.

Crap!

#24

it certainly is a great car

#25

Great choice to keep that good looking car.

#26

And how did you do at RR? Chuck

#27

Just a smidge too much camber on the right rear of the Miata, eh? I had a hellova fun time chasing M3’s, M Coupes, a street E30, a One Lap GT2, a few Alfas, Brendan’s Sled… It was an eclectic group for sure.

Hey Steve!

Glad to hear you’re staying with SpecE30. Hopefully I’ll see you at Mid Ohio in September!

Cheers,
Scott

Who put on the event at RR last weekend?

#31
Who put on the event at RR last weekend?
It’s just a group of guys who rent the track each January. I think they have been doing it for the last 9 years or so. The core group are friends with each other from high school. A few guys were involved in an internet start-up that got big. From there, it has spread to be friends-of-friends as required to fill a roster of ~20.

Out of 21 cars there this year we had probably half BMWs, a handful of Alfas, and a few other assorted track rats.

Reviving an old thread…

The car is again for sale. Since I last offered the car for sale I have used it for two DE weekends at Roebling. As my kids’ activities continue to dominate the weekends (and since we rented a house in Florida and I see a boat in my future), it is time to let her go.

Since the classifieds only permit attachment of photos, I’m throwing the PDF on here.

Sale pending.

Thanks for the emails, guys. I’ll contact each of you if anything changes with Buyer #1.

PS - I’ll still be around to debate meaningless sh*t with my man-crush Ranger. Unfortunately I can’t put the smack-down on Baader 'cuz I won’t own a SpecE30 either.

#34

Sold. Thanks to Alex Reznikov for buying my car. May you have as many fun laps with it as I’ve had!

" Unfortunately I can’t put the smack-down on Baader 'cuz I won’t own a SpecE30 either" You can always run your wreck pinyiata in ITA and we can play:evil:

I bought the #410 from Alex. New business venture (both time and money) are kicking my butt right now so it would be wise for me to sell.

Current photos coming shortly, the people that know me know how OCD I am. The car has been cleaned thoroughly, paint polished, some wiring has been tidied up. That sort of stuff

#37

Jeremy Lucas sent me a message last night asking if the car might be available. I just sent him a message with the link to this thread. Good luck with the sale and new venture.

#38

Thanks very much Steve. I love this car. If it doesn’t sell, I know I will make the time next year to get it out on track. Preparation time seems hard to come by when being focused on business and getting it up and running.

Work hard to play hard, have to take the risks early on to pay off in the end!

Again, thanks.

Martin D.
