Just want to give a shout out to Sandro, East Coast Champion. He is out at Sonoma Raceway about to participate in the West Coast Championships. He shall represent the Southeast region well out there.
He is not alone though, he brought his friends Issa and Bains with him to raise hell and party hard!!

Don’t forget AR who is out there as well! Looks like the crew have their work cut out for them. I say break out the Cazadores with the local hotshoes and get them lit and hungover if need be. 
Unfortunately, Sandro and Mark are both suffering from mechanical issues. Sando developed a pinhole in his radiator. Socal driver Steve Stepanial gave him a new in the box radiator and we got it in time to make the next session. Then he lost his ABS and this caused him to hit the wall on thurdays test day. Only hurt a control arm and a rim. He made repairs and was ready to go today but the non working ABS made him hit the wall today in the qualifying session. He rented another car from a NorCal owner and had contact in the race resulting in a DQ. (you know he wants to start last to repeat ATL, right!) Meanwhile they took a pair of F350’s and straighed the car to where the trunk closes again. Someone has it on video somehwere…
Marks issues arent as bad, but a good rear subframe and other rear suspension bits are on the way and should get him up to speed. On track maybe not the best time but they are all seeming to be having a good time. Were definately enjoying them! Last I heard Sandro and Mark were going to buy houses in SoCal and move here… its what I heard…
Anyways, they should be telling this story, not me. (pretty sure they are passed out somewhere…!)
BIG shout out to the SoCal SE30 peeps, specially Shawn Maze and Steve Stepanian. What a welcome, they are the greatest host that we could’ve had. Super helpful, and above all, super cool! I can’t wait for them to come over to this side and race with us.
Although it was a tough weekend, still had a blast! Very talented group of racers - Hopefully we’ll see you all soon!
Sandro, when you get several minutes please tell us all the “Gress-epic” kinda stuff.
You know: intercoolers on trucks, brakes, subframes, tire walls, etc.
Post it on the other thread about the West Coast Championships so all can enjoy your infectious positive attitude.
