Vic,

What am I missing? I’m #43 in the MA region.

I am rebuilding… and hope to be back out there in less than 60 days ;)[/quote]

Great!

Anything we can do to help?

Hmmm? You could start by not sending any more people to get parts from my car

We had a few asking for parts too. After our stash ran low, I sent them in your direction…

Vic,

This is great but remember this is only for the OH/IN region. I would guess most of these guys will not make it up to our region during the year and Nationals has it’s own car number policy. I would guess that a lot of GTS and 944 cup guys that are in this run groupe will be pissed when they can’t get there number because someone in another region has reserved it.

If this is all OK then I would like to reserve #36 for all the other regions just in case I make it down to VIR or Road Atlanta.

Not trying to be a hard case but be considerite of thoes other races in other classes in the region that will most likely go to 90% of these races. I plan to make all the OH/IN races myself.

Respectfully,

Michael O.

Tom, I’ll put you down for #55.

Michael,
I talked (well e-mailed really) with Dave Royce, the Regional Administrator for OH/IN and Midwest. He is aware that most of the names/numbers that I gave him are East-coasters that will likely not make the bulk of the OH/IN events. If there are any conflicts, the locals will get their numbers. Thanks for the thought!

Sasha, #43 and #143 are both taken (#63 was a typo on my part). How does #48 sound? You can "round off" your 3’s.

Keep the posts coming - it’s good to see interest growing for the OH/IN region!

Vic,

So the problem is that I cannot race as #43 or #143 in the OH/IN region? I can live with that for now; my leash isn’t that long! If and when I make it up there, I’ll deal with it. I agree with Michael O. that it wouldn’t be fair for me to hog a number in a region I don’t plan on regularly running.

Thanks,
Sasha

Sasha,
That’s right - 43 and 143 have already been reserved. When you make it up to an OH/IN race, drop me a line, and I’ll find you a number, or see if the guys with your number will be at the event.
