Bring back the vert'

#21

I’d like to allow verts. Coupes are getting extremely rare in junkyards, while verts are just all over the place.

I’d also like to be permitted to weld a brace tieing the front shock tower to the roll cage, as these shells have a tendency to V over time. I guess that’s where the vert stiffeners come in.

Those that don’t support Verts
68% Plenty shells.
Looks good. I think the answer lies in somehow determining who is correct in this argument.
I think both are correct.

On a larger scale, consider the E30 Touring - in the US it’s a rare bird and highly sought after. Yet, in the UK, they ain’t no big thing…

All depends on the part of the country you are in. Here in the PNW, they are disappearing fast, either being restored or saved by those that care, or parted and scrapped by those trying to make a quick buck. Meanwhile, it sounds like in the south, and SE there seems to be quite a few shells tucked away in peoples back lots or bushes…etc. Who knows why? But like the answers said, what may be true for one section of the US, doesn’t mean it’s same across the US. It’s a big country.

Oh man! I want to be the first Spec E30 touring!

I think the verts are only in the southern outside edges of the US so you better have enough for the rest of the country. I voted for the verts only to postpone the spec3 sacrilege.
