It’s always about you :silly:

(just kidding, the only reason I won’t make it tomorrow is because all of my crap will be packed up and headed to atlanta…)

Here’s a sneak peak at the new car (sorry, it’s not an E30 :frowning: but it is an E36!)

Travis
Skeen
JP
Scott

I’ll be there early as we discussed. I don’t know when the rest of the clowns are showing up.

#43

I’ll get there around 10:30. If I can get there earlier I will…

#44

I guess I’ll get there around 11. Pretty sure Al said he was coming.

The brakes on my truck went bad this morning (possibly a master cylinder), and it, the race car, and trailer are all in various places around Cary, NC. I had to borrow a POS Dodge Caravan that has no tags/inspection, and used 2 quarts of oil in 30 miles to get to the office. I am, however, thankful to Olivers Automotive for letting me borrow it. Hopefully everything will be worked out by this afternoon. Assuming I can get all the vehicles back together, and I don’t get thrown in jail today for air pollution/no tags/no inspection, etc., I will be there around 11 or 12.

aight cool. i will see you guys in the morning. We have a 350z that we have to finish tuning and at some point a couple of late models are coming to make couple pules so the dyno will be busy tomorrow. Should be a fun day.

Oh and the lift is in, wired, and fully functional. Just for you guys.

You go first.

(I have yet to dyno my 250K+ beat down midpack junkyard motor)

I took the Panther over to BRE today to see what the new BMW crate motor will do, not as much as JP’s but not shabby:

145.9 HP

I am picking up a SpecExhaust this weekend (hopefully) and putting it on to see what it adds B)

#51

That’s right around (147.3) where my 130,000 mile motor is

Put the SpecExhaust on and re-dynoed today…

160.1 hp :woohoo:

Now maybe I can at least make it to mid-pack… B)

BTW - Talked with Luke today at BRE and if anyone wants a .020 over SpecE30 engine that will move them up in the pack, they can build one for less than I paid for the BMW crate engine

to quote a famous juice commercial: I could’ve had a BRE!!

Did they give a rough number?

Horsepower or talent. If you can’t have one you better have plenty of the other…
