brake light bracket pic request

If it’s not imposing, I would like to see how others have mounted their 3rd brake light. I had a little bracket cobbled together but it did not survive light contact with my elbow while my attention was elsewhere. The contact broke the base of the light and I’m scratching my head for mount ideas. Any pictures would be very much appreciated :slight_smile:

I just used two long (2") cylindrical spacers with two sheet metal screws (2 1/2")and some washers. Nothing fancy at all.

I bent up a "hat shaped" bracket out of 1/8x3" AL strap (Home Center special) that I happened to have on-hand.

Did you guys use the original light?

Yes. I used the entire stock housing.
