Brake Ducting - What to use?

I am not planning on fabricating the backing plates, but what are some of the "home-grown" ideas that some of you have done with brake ducts?

Just curious before I decide to add them to the car.

I used a 2 1/2 hole saw and cut out holes in the exsisting backing plates, welded up some tabs and attached ducting from the stock holes. Total cost was about $50 for the hose. Email me if you’d like pics of the instal
