Hello all,
I’m putting in my kill switch and I’m wondering if anyone has a battery cable laying around? I’m mounting it on the passenger side near the door on the harness bar so I don’t need the whole thing. I figure it might be cheaper to go that route than going to buy a length of new cable somewhere. Any help is appreciated.

The easiest way to install the kill switch is what you are doing but using parts of two battery cables. I just go to a salvage yard to get one. Both times I’ve done that they have given me the cable for free.
Another option is to get equal sized cable from a welding supply house. Going that route I’d use new cable for the run from the switch to the battery. You can get a solder on battery terminal from wiringproducts.com (and the lugs for the kill switch).
