Bar Recommendation

#1

No, I’m not talking about drinkin’ and dancin’, I’m way too old for that behavior. However , based on Rob’s recommendation at Bimmerworld, I purchased the newly-released Ireland Engineering sway bar kit for a new spec e30 car I’m building (the taxi cab). The kit comes with a rear bar that you can fine-tune with an adjustable slide collar. The rear also has a billet bracket to hold the bar to the subframe/wimpy mounting nut-tab. The front features a nice rod end solid link to the control arm. A good product that is worthy of your consideration. Regards, Robert Patton

I called Ireland, on an unrelated order of ss brake lines, I asked about the sway bar set pricing. It looks like they may raise the price in the next 4-6 weeks. It’s a good deal I have checked all around, I’m going to get it.

I have seen that slide collar idea used on the BW HUGE tubular sways they sell for e36 cars. I put one on the front of my M3, and WOW, I had never seen a bar that big, somewhere over 30mm I think. But, that slider was really easy and convenient to use.
