This was a 40th B-day gift from my Mom which she unveiled at the track this weekend. I thought I’d share it since it includes images of Thornton, Bill Z, Switzer, Lako, Chuck Taylor, Ranger, Laura Patton, Stroup, Levie, and I think Palacio.
I had asked her to do an abstract in black and white for my office using gestures of cars. This is way more than I had imagined.
Bad A$$ Painting includes most of us
I glanced at it a couple of times when I buzzed by on the golfcart. It was awesome!
Wow, That is awesome!
This is much less creepy than the self portrait Robinson had made of himself standing on the podium at Spa with a shirtless Alonso groveling at his feet.

Don’t you mean “groveling” at his “feet”?
PS - That is a truly great gift!!
That wasn’t a portrait per se, but an airbrushed T-shirt I got at VA Beach.
And that wasn’t Alonso but a chick the artist just wasn’t very good.
Reallly nice!
Were it not for the RRR grounds patrol we would have all set up shop at the Walsh/Lako complex and drank all of the beer (right, beer). Your rig set-up can be “Spec E30 central” at Road Atlanta? The WLR cars will soon make up 1/4 of our race fields.
WLR…whirly-gig? Oops, lost focus for a minute.
See you at RA.
