This is just me two cents. I am a lover of all cars. I own a Spen Miata and a Spec E30(Miata is up for sale). My theory is that over the corse time contact is going to happen to a lot of people. Not everyone. You can try and be slow and drive in your comfort zone and then you get plowed into from the back. You can push it balls to the wall in every turn and then one day it snaps loose and your in the wall. No ones fault but your own at that point but it is a form of contact. If you race then you are pushing it and you are taking your chances. That is just something we live with. We all know it can happen at any moment on any given day. The good thing is that we as a group are doing what we can to minimize it. I don’t hear of Spec E30’s taking each other out very often. That is a REALLY good thing and all of you should be proud. I love good clean racing. I wouldn’t get the same satisfation out of passing someone if I “pushed” them out of the as I would knowing that my exit speed was just that much better then his and all he is seeing now is the big “R” in front of him. LOL Maybe its beacuse I am still young and new and everything is still so exciting for me. I have never had more fun in my entire life. But even better then that it has brought my Father and I closer together then ever before and have formed a bond and memoeries that will never be broken or forgotten. Those things to me are what is truley important. Like I said just me two cents.
