We should make it with the new car. This will be a good test for BMW…the motor/trans has 240k, did the windage tray, timing belt and water pump, changed the oil and adjusted the valves. Hope it holds together.

What pads are you guys running, front and back?

#7

On all four corners?

BTM Motorwerks will be there in full force!

I haven’t driven on the full course yet, only the short course for the SCCA ground school. It should be very interesting. God I hope it’s going to be dry.

That’s about the right level of SE30 car prep for a race weekend - oil and valves. It’ll hold. Glad to have you out there - I would like the chance to race with you for more than about a second.

Blues for me - I’ve been experimenting with different setups in the rear, sometimes Blues sometimes other stuff. Tried the DTC60s in the front with Blues in the rear and and the Traqmate didn’t show a difference in stopping distance over the Blues on all 4 but the checkbook DID show a difference so I also favor the Blues.

I may not actually drive it this weekend. I owe my old brother chris for buying the donar car, so he may be in the seat all weekend. There is a possibility that we will trade days in the e30/honda. We’ll see. I’m excited, should be fun. I’m having seperation anxioty from my honda already though… :frowning:

All 4!

Started with hawk blues on all four which seemed to work. Then tried hawk DTC60 front and HT10 rear and did not notice any improved stopping but the fronts wore out a lot quicker. Now I am back to hawk blues again…they are cheap and seem to work.

#17

I’ll be there and I will be super sizing. I run the blues up front and (?) on the rears with El Cheapo rotors. I can’t wait to run at THill again it has been a while.

I’m in and supersized, too. Looking forward to running with you guys again. Ron H

Speed Trapp will be racing, I will also be out on Friday with Track Masters. We use the hawk blues on the rear of the car and Raybestos ST-43’s on the front due to pedal feedback and longevity of the pads, but some people do not like how the Raybestos do not offer the initial bite as the blues. Anyway many good pads to chose from.

Hawk Blues here too. Also got all engine belts replaced and diff fluid swapped out with some swepco.
